This beautiful yellow ochre building was designed to be used as an ammunition depot. You can admire the 875 guns of various origins lined up in front of its façade, some of which were taken from the Napoleonic army that partially destroyed the building in 1812. This building in the epicentre of Russian power still retains its military function today as it houses the Kremlin regiment in charge of the security of the presidential administration and the president: it is therefore not possible to visit it without getting into trouble.
