Surrounded by a narrow impasse and overlooking the old harbour, here is the home of the sailor James Cook, between 1746 and 1749. Today, it hosts an intimate museum that plunges into the life of this old wolffish. The kitchen and the two pieces on the ground floor have been furnished in the austere style of his Quakers parents. On the floors we discover the anthropological drawings of Cook's road companions as well as boat models and navigational instruments.
