Read moreA small Japanese eatery in the heart of Brighton, Pompoko serves good food at reasonable prices and has built up a loyal clientele of students and locals who appreciate the informal atmosphere and varied menu. Space is limited and reservations are not possible, so it's sometimes difficult to get a table if you're a large group. On the plus side, you can bring your own booze, and the corkage fee of £1 applies not per bottle but per head, which can be very profitable. If you're craving Japanese cuisine, go for it!
