THE PINES GARDEN

This beautiful promenade garden stretches over several hectares and is populated by numerous pine specimens, which surround a lake, waterfall and swamp garden. The privileged view overlooks the cliff. See also a small museum dedicated to the history of the places (free entrance). The North Downs Trail offers stunning views over the white cliffs of Dover to Shakespeare Cliff. Note that St Margaret's Bay is the British point closest geographically to France.
