The only dam in the world built in a city! This museum, created in 1998 as a cube, presents a permanent exhibition on hydroelectric generation and its history. To know that the Caroni who flows into the Orinoco supplies electricity in Caracas, northern Brazil and a little Colombia. An impressive glass tunnel can see the machine room. The ecomuseum in an academic-cultural perspective has a good cafe-restaurant ideal for breakfast or sunset, and exposes works by masters Carlos Cruz-Diez and Alejandro Otero.
