The best museums Mérida

Inaugurated in 1911 by Bishop Antonio Ramon Silva Garcia to celebrate the first centenary of the Declaration of Independence, the Diocese Museum moved in 1941 in this beautiful basilica, which contains a small collection of religious art, a mummy, a bell dated 909 and the portraits of successive bishops of Mérida.
