The 22 pieces of the old convent of Notre-Dame-de-la-Salceda are now devoted to the cult of art. The guided tour (one hour, in Spanish) crosses the magnificent collection assembled by Bishop Francisco José Iturriza Guillen for more than 20 years: the ring of the first bishop of Venezuela, a statue of 800-year-old Saint Peter, the Byzantine school, the Creole statues and even Indian tools. A very beautiful collection.
