CATEDRAL
Religious building
Recommended
Begun in 1583 and finished 53 years later, the white cathedral of Santa Ana is, with its namesake of Margarita, the oldest of Venezuela. The construction times and the sobriety of the building are due to the concerns of economics of the first time of conquest. The main tower was a murderer who defended the pirate town. Yet, after several looting, there is little left of the wealth of the church, if that is what we see at the Bishopric museum.
