Xiaguan is also called the new city of Dali. Be careful, don't confuse! Xiaguan is often a forced passage on the road to Dali (the old town). While Xiaguan remains an important center of communication and industry in western Yunnan, the Bourgade does not have any tourist interest. We advise you to take a bus to Dali.
