DOUBLE DRAGON BRIDGE
Structure spanning the dry Tachong and Lujiang rivers
An engineering masterpiece of the Qing dynasty, the Two Dragons Bridge (Shuanglong Qiao) spans the Lu River. Built in the 18th century, this superb stone structure stretches 148 metres and features seventeen arches whose reflections ripple in the water. Its poetic name refers to the two rivers it links, resembling two intertwining dragons. The bridge once linked two important trade routes and served as a shelter for travellers. Today, the bridge invites you to stroll between the sky and the rice paddies.
