The Institute is a free exhibition space dedicated to preserving and promoting the collection of archival fonds.

Established in 2004 in Ardenne Abbey, the Institut Mémoires de l'Édition Contemporaine's mission is to preserve and enhance the immense collection of archives entrusted to its care. To this end, a majestic library in the abbey church and a research residence are open to anyone wishing to study. It's also a free exhibition space open to all. And even just for a stroll, the site's beauty and calm make it well worth a visit. There's even a small café waiting for you!

Aussi vaste que malheureusement inconnu lieu de culture du Calvados. Sur les "décombres" de l'abbatiale Augustinienne d'Ardenne, restaurée, une immense bibliothèque d'archives littéraires ouverte à tous. Dans une immense grange attenante d'étonnant dispositifs amovibles pour une salle multiculturelle. Enfin dans l'un des battiment conventuels restant une salle d'exposition avec des centaines de citations d'auteurs, répertoriées par ordre alphabétique : dingue!!!
