The Umbracle is a 320 m long walk which acts as a watchtower. Located at the entrance of the City, it allows to contemplate the neighboring buildings that are reflected in the 13,500 m 2 of side basins. Designed by Calatrava, the Umbracle consists of 55 fixed arches and 54 floating arches, 18 meters high. The Umbracle houses hundreds of palm trees, bougainvilleas, climbing plants and several contemporary art sculptures. It regularly hosts temporary exhibitions.

Petit parc intérieur
Cette promenade, sur le côté de la cité des arts et des sciences, est bien agréable à fréquenter. C'est une belle architecture, il y a des sculptures dans la partie intérieure et extérieure, c'est ombragé. ..de l,extérieur on a une vue sur les superbes bâtiments modernes( hemisferic, musée des sciences, musée des arts...)
