Read moreThe palace of the marquis of Dos Aguas, inside whose the National museum of ceramics is, deserves with him only the visit. Built at the end of XVe century and restored in 1740 on order of the marquis of Dos Aguas, this building is a remarkable example of the style rococo. The entrance gate, crowned of a virgin, presents a tangle of forms carved in alabaster of the region. The building forms a unit impressing with the chantilly aspect, in tons pastel. Inside, one discovers there the rich museum's collection, energy of medieval ceramics of Manises and Paterna to the Eastern porcelains of XVIIIe century, via the reconstitution of a covered Valencian cuisine of tiles. At the ground floor, the collection of fit with body seems very right outing of a fairy tale!
SCIENCE MUSEUM PRÍNCIPE FELIPE
Read moreOpened in the year 2000, it is a museum devoted to science and technology. Built by Calatrava, the building is more than 42 000 m2. Geometric shapes remind the skeleton of a dinosaur. This huge interactive space is spread over three floors and allows the public to discover in a fun way operation of electricity or the sound, to understand the challenges of the climate change, explore the mysteries of the DNA or astronomy, observe one of the largest clocks of Foucault in the world, etc. in addition to the permanent collection, the museum hosts temporary exhibitions.
