MUSEUM OF ETHNOLOGY LA BENEFICENCIA CENTER
Cultural and multidisciplinary center with a museum of Prehistory, a museum of Ethnology and a study center in Valencia.
Built in 1841, this building with its neo-medieval and Renaissance accents houses a cultural and multidisciplinary centre. Inside, you can visit the Prehistory Museum, which presents the results of the excavations carried out in the region through a collection of objects and materials dating back to the Paleolithic period. You can also see the Valencia Museum of Ethnology, which relates the way of life and customs of the Valencians through a collection of traditional objects. Finally, the centre houses the Valencian Institute for Studies and Research, equipped with a library specialising in prehistory, ethnology and art, with a collection of more than 50,000 books.
