MARCHÉ DE NOËL

Called the noche buena, "the good night", the night of December 24 is often punctuated by midnight mass, sometimes called the rooster mass, and by joyful parades. The ritual varies according to the cities. At the Christmas celebrations, a large market is held around the Mercado Central and on Avenida del Oeste. There are mainly Christmas decorations, crafts and toys.
