VIRGEN DE LOS DESAMPARADOS

This is the feast of Our Lady of Helpless, patron saint of Valencia. It is called by the Valenciens La Geperudeta (small bossue) because of its slightly curved position. On this occasion, a procession takes place in the streets of the historic centre and fireworks are launched from the Jardins gardens. A beautiful ceramic objects market is set up on the Plaza de la Reina.
