ROYAL PALAIS

Built between the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, like most of the large buildings in the town, the Royal Palace, in Gothic style, was at the time occupied by the Llordat family and welcomed the King of the Crown of Aragon when he came to stay in Montblanc. It has been reformed many times during its long history, and over time it has increased in size, and its interior structure has been extensively modified, as well as the windows on the second floor. The Royal Palace is now a private property and cannot be visited.
