It is one of the beautiful gardens offered by the Costa Brava and very strongly recommended its visit. Made in 1919 by the young landscape architect Nicolau Maria Rubió i Tudurí, at the request of the Marquis de Roviralta, the gardens of Santa Clotilde are perched at the top of a cliff, with an impressive view of the sea. On nearly 27 000 m ², they were built on the Italian Renaissance model and represent the art nouveau movement in Catalonia. They have been classified as «historic gardens of goods of national interest».

Pour accéder au jardin Santa Clotilde de Lloret , il faut longer la mer en direction de Blanés . En arrivant au guichet préciser votre âge pour les retraités pour obtenir une réduction. Le jardin se visite au milieu d'arbres et de verdures.La vue sur la mer est magnifique.

En été, par fortes chaleurs, vous trouverez un cadre de verdure bien agréable, mais c'est tout ; anciens jardins à l'abandon d'un propriétaire fauché ne pouvant plus les entretenir, c'est la mairie de Lloret qui s'en charge ; pour les visiter, il faut monnaie débourser ; bof, allez plutôt en contrebas, sur la magnifique plage de SA Boadella, un des plus belles plages d'Espagne, c'est gratuit et si vous êtes bon nageur, pourrez visiter des criques où seul, vous pourrez profiter de moments privilégiés.
