In 1932, Josep Ensesa Pujades, a leading Girona industrialist, founded the Hostal de la Gavina, which has become one of the most luxurious hotels in Europe and the first hotel on the peninsula to be a member of Leading Hotels of the World. Today, the fourth Endesa generation is at the helm of the establishment, which has also been recognized as an asset of national cultural interest by the Generalitat de Catalunya. It now offers 74 rooms (originally 11), as well as a seawater pool, spa and restaurants, while retaining its historic structure.

Bueno, si pasar por el paseo de ronda se considera estar en la Gavina...precioso, pero no he estado en el Hostal, así que no voy a inventarme nada, soy de decir lo que siento, más vale ser poco, que aparentar mucho.
