The municipality offers about 7.5 kilometres of coastline divided into beaches or coves. Sand lovers will opt for the large beach of Palamós, integrated into the urban environment with bars and various services, and the beach of La Fosca, also urbanised, or the beach of Le Castell, surrounded by pine forests, in a classified natural area at the mouth of the Canal de l'Aubi. On the coves side, Cala Margarida or Cala S'Alguer, where fishermen used to store their boats. All of this coastline can be walked along the footpath.
