HOTEL TRIAS
Hotel with restaurant of traditional cuisine, bars and swimming pool located in front of the beach and a few meters from the old Palamós.
Ava Gardner stayed here, as did Truman Capote, who was greatly inspired by its bar. But in the meantime, this century-old hotel had closed its doors, only to reopen in 2005 after a complete renovation. Its main asset remains the same: a particularly privileged location on the seafront, in front of the beach and just a few metres from the old town of Palamós. On the other hand, the hotel now offers 82 double rooms and two junior suites, with generous dimensions and refined decor, featuring white wood and references to the navy. We recommend the sea-facing rooms for superb views of the bay from the terrace or balcony. You can enjoy Palamós gambas and, why not, the tarte tatin with cinnamon and mascarpone ice cream, its specialty, at the restaurant, which offers traditional cuisine and daily lunch menus. An outdoor swimming pool is also available in summer. And of course two bars, "La Corniche" and "Ruark", where you can sample the Dry martini, gin, olive and lemon zest so beloved of Truman Capote. Then you'll know whether it once again deserves its name of "hotel to the stars".

Nos trajo bebidas el camarero Juan Pablo, quien estuvo muy atento a nuestra experiencia en el lugar. Si vas de paso es un lugar que no te puedes perder. Recomendado.
