Here's a way to discover Pals and the surrounding area via a little train offering themed tours. The main route, the rice route, takes you on a tour of Pals' flagship food, from sowing to harvesting, passing through mills and rice fields. Other tours include the discovery of the village's Gothic walls; a wine route passing through Mas Gelli; or the pretty medieval villages in the surrounding area (Peratallada and its impressive moat, Palau Sator and its tower of hours). These highly educational tours, lasting 1 to 2 hours, can be conducted in French.
