Visit this building which houses remarkable works of art including the eight pagan and early Christian sarcophagi and the Lying Christ

It was Girona's main place of worship before the cathedral was built and it played this role as a cathedral until the 10th century. It is one of the most representative Gothic buildings in the city, especially because of its slender bell tower (14th-16th centuries). Similar to a castle, the Romanesque chevet is completed with Gothic naves and a Baroque façade (13th-18th centuries). The interior is home to remarkable works of art, such as the eight pagan and early Christian sarcophagi (4th century) and the Christ lying (14th century) by Master Aloi.

Eglise mignonne, moins impressionnante que la cathédrale bien sûr mais intéressante tout de même.
En flânant dans les rues, l'église avec sa place sont sympa à visiter.

Moins impressionnante que la basilique mais néanmoins très intéressante au niveau architecturale. La petite place sur le devant vaut le détour et il parait que ça porte chance de toucher l'arrière train du lion (qu'il faut trouver, car il est beaucoup moins volumineux que ce à quoi nous nous attendions!)
