Opening at the end of 2023 in the heart of Barri Vell, this cultural complex aims to promote Catalan culture, language, history and gastronomy. Sardana and other Catalan dances will be taught. On the palate, you'll be able to sample cuisine that couldn't be more local, such as the Empordà roast chicken casserole at the Fonda del Foment (right next door), or drop in at the Taverna del Foment, a little further along the sidewalk. A more informal place to sample cheeses and charcuterie, accompanied by Vermut.
