Hotel offering rooms in a unique mountain style, both refined and characteristic

The history of the Hotel de la Poste began in 1804, when it was primarily a place for socialites. Since then, the establishment has never ceased its activity. Until 1921, the adjoining post office used to cancel the letters of the Austro-Hungarian high society and the hotel was then used as a post house... hence its name since then. Nowadays, the telegraph's place is occupied by the restaurant's tables. As for the rooms, they are bright and spacious, doubling their warm character with a demanding comfort.

Avevo letto le recensioni ed ero preoccupata ma in realtà ho capito che le camere sono tutte diverse e la nostra era davvero davvero bella. Il personale è socievole e disponibile anche se c’è un po’ di disorganizzazione generale. Il cibo è buono, ma non devi avere fretta… La colazione è servita in una sala meravigliosa: il buffet è buono tranne che per la qualità dei dolci non eccezionale. Il bar è fantastico: dalle 19 orge la musica e inizia la festa!!! C’è da divertirsi, di sicuro. La posizione dell’hotel è eccezionale, proprio nel centro del corso, di fronte al Duomo. Un plus: cani ammessi.

Hotel centrlissimo, vicino alla chiesa di Cortina, forse uno dei più antichi. Pranzato in una grande sala arredata in stile Cortinese.. Spatzle e polenta con spezzatino consigliati.

A classic italian alps hotel with a long history. Rooms a rustic and comfy. Bathrooms can have a little old tech equipment, but everything works. Personnel very helpful with a classical touch. A excellent choise in Cortina
