Excellent products served in a typical, welcoming setting, and sourced from kilometer zero since we're on anagroturismo concept. If you're not planning to try out the restaurant (which, however, is well worth the detour on its own), take a moment to wander through this soothing larch forest, sample the region's best hot chocolate and sit out on the terrace to enjoy a delicious moment, high above the Ampezzo valley. You could even fill up on their delicious artisan cheeses.

The view here is stunning, and the atmosphere exudes warmth, complemented by good food. The unique touch of serving their own butter with freshly baked bread at the start of the meal is a delightful reason to visit this restaurant. The service is pleasant, though it may benefit from a touch more authenticity, something you’d typically look forward to in a malga setting. Perhaps embracing a more genuine and less urban approach could elevate the overall experience to match the genuine charm one anticipates in such a rustic and inviting setting. They should also kindly request that guests avoid smoking at the outdoor tables of the restaurant, helping to preserve the fresh, healthy air of the area and maintain the true flavors of their dishes.

We ended up here for lunch, on the way to refuge Mietres. Our two year old son was hungry and the place had some free tables. We asked for a pasta with butter, a dish of gnocchi and a jur of water. Receipt of 60 Euros and one word to describe it: crazy. We asked ourself how anyone could think of asking 22 euros for a pasta with butter. And in fact I asked it to the casher, who seemed even annoyed by my question. Answer: Our tagliatelle are handmade. The guy is a genius, really. Luckly, he engraced us with a majestic 2-euros discount. I appreciate that it's Cortina, as well as your hand-made, golden-hands kneaded tagliatelle, but guys, no way! P.S.: they charged us 3 "place settings", even though only two of us ate (child + my wife). The apologies, needless to say, were not received.
