A 16th century villa with 29 rooms and a panoramic restaurant.

Numerous personalities from the world of cinema, politicians and royalty, from De Sica to Onassis, have stayed in this 16th century villa, once owned by the English poet Browning, which has retained its charm and discretion without neglecting comfort. The Cipriani has 28 rooms, including 6 suites, and a panoramic restaurant with excellent seasonal menus. A special mention goes to the hotel's bar, Il Pozzo, which, according to regulars, serves the best Bellini cocktails in the area, made with prosecco and peach juice.

Sono venuta qui per fare una colazione all'aperto su un posto magico.. Che dire.... La location è ottima! Il cibo buono, il servizio invece è l'unico motivo per cui non ho messo la 5 stella.
Oltre al fatto che alla carta non era disponibile un semplice e banale panino, abbiamo atteso oltre 15 minuti sperando che qualche cameriere passasse da noi per ordinare un toast (dopo la crepes e i pancake), ma niente. Nessuno è arrivato.
Così siamo andati noi a chiamarlo. Alle 9.50 ho ordinato un toast classico. Alle 10.15 ancora nulla e così, pensando se ne fossero dimenticati, ci siamo alzati per andare a pagare.
Quando eravamo davanti alla cassa, esce il cameriere addirittura con faccia stupita, dicendo che ci stava portando il toast. Oramai dopo quasi mezz'ora dall'ordine.
Nulla di grave, però queste disattenzioni lo fanno sembrare più un 3 stelle che non un 5 stelle.
Un anno fa avevo soggiornato in un altro 5 stelle della zona e il servizio è stato completamente differente.
Alla fine comunque per una crepes alla crema pasticceria ( tra l'altro deliziosa!), due pancake, un caffè, un'acqua, un succo e il toast, abbiamo speso circa 50 euro.
Però la location li vale tutti.
Peccato per questi inconvenienti.

Vi endte tilfældigvis her på en Roadtrip til Italien og nu er vi her igen året efter. Dette hotel er paradis på jord! Muligvis det mest romantiske hotel vi nogensinde har været på.
Vi kommer tilbage år efter år. Vores største anbefaling!
