A beautiful church, one of the oldest religious buildings in Venice, with a beautiful clock façade.
429 is the date on which the first stone of this church was laid, making it one of the oldest religious buildings in Venice, although it was restored in the 17th century. Its beautiful clock on the façade has been keeping time with the activity of the merchants since 1410. On the campo, , the strange statue of the Gobbo di Rialto (The Hunchback of Rialto), dated 1541, reminds us that on the porphyry column the laws and news of the Republic of Venice were proclaimed to the public.
