Built in 1750 by a rich Catalan family, the Labia, this sumptuous palace was known in all Venice for the eccentric manners of its owners who, during the festive evenings, used to throw their gold and silver dishes in the canal… Today the palace became the headquarters of RAI, the Italian radio-television, but its lounges keep an admirable fresco in misleading tones. the eye of Tiepolo. Whether it's for their perspective or their architecture, you will stay a good hour before Il Banchetto di Antonio e Cleopatra and L'Imbarco di Cleopatra.
