The Maratona Internazionale di Venezia is absolutely unique. Imagine a start in front of the sumptuous Villa Pisani in Stra (35 kilometers from Venice) and, after a race along the Brenta river and its remains, a finish in Venice and a final effort to cross the various bridges and finally reach St. Mark's Square and the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute.
