A superb terrace overlooking Venice and its lagoon, a fresh, modern interior with tones reminiscent of the water and sky of the Serenissima: this is the bar of the Marriott Hotel on the Isle of Roses south of Giudecca. But what a joy it is to take the hotel's private (and free) shuttle bus from San Marco, and arrive here at aperitif time. The crowds and hustle and bustle seem far removed from this finely tuned setting. On summer evenings, a DJ sets the mood, while you sip a glass of prosecco and gaze at the horizon.

Le panorama sur venise et les autres iles de la Lagune est exceptionnel. Formidable endroit pour boire un verre. On y accède par un service de navette gratuit, même pour les non résidents de l’hôtel.
