A comfortable hostel with rooms, some with a view of the roofs of Venice
A great idea for budget travellers who don't want to give up on charm. In a quiet corner of San Polo, a few steps from the Basilica dei Frari and the San Tomà vaporetto stop, a clean and charming inn, simple but comfortable. The bedding is correct, the manager Marco (who speaks French) is charming, and some of the rooms with views over the rooftops of Venice are so beautiful you'd like to imagine them in a painting. A varied sweet and savory breakfast. A small altana (Venetian balcony) on the rooftops is open to all to enjoy the view.
