CA' CONTARINI

We return 6 days in this hotel, it was a very bad experience and I do not recommend it. Each line or almost listed in the announcement with reservation is fake:
- 24 Hour front desk: several people find themselves for hours stuck street and answered them that it was normal because staff was occupied.
- Breakfast: absolutely ashamed, melba toast and a sample of jam packed, with an undrinkable café robusta
- ceiling fan: no, untrue
- Free Wi-fi: did not go
- Cuisine: there is a kitchen, but it is forbidden to use it outside 12:00 - 14:00 Therefore never used for people who go on the day and return to eat in the evening. Us were even said that " the gas cost cher" too; when we wanted to use it.
- Mini Bar: not built yet, and of course more due
- Tea/coffee machine: you will even receive a coffee robusta at €1/kilo but. However bring your coffee maker as nothing functions, and attention because you will have the right to use it only between 12:00 and 14:00.
- cable tv: that Italian channels, very small TV poor quality
- Free map of the city: ever received
- Small gift offered: ever received
- Hairdryer: no
- Towels included: changed 1 times a week, which is a little right...
- Air-conditioning: forgery, and not even heating, we slept by 14 degree in the room, covers not included
- Free internet access: forgery, no computer available to guests, and wi-fi problems
- Credit cards accepted: forgery, expressly refused, they does not take " that cash"
- Taxes included: scythes, when we arrived, a herd of taxes complementary are required for us suite in cash, if not room

For rest us have not experienced but if you also considers that the staff is more unpleasant guests, even excessive, I would say without problem that it is the hotel where we felt most mall at ease of all those who we could see during our voyages. The fear of the reprimands, dissatisfaction with guests who market every day at reception and see their humiliation because they are stuck including us after payment.
Very hard for the moral one even if Venice is very pretty and the central location of the hotel is very practical.
