A nice address at very good prices, easily reached on foot from the piazzale Roma. It takes its name from a famous thoroughbred, winner of many races at French racecourses. We appreciated the well-kept setting and the flowered garden where we can settle down when the weather is nice. The Venetian cuisine offers beautiful plates of fish cooked with talent (spaghetti with cuttlefish ink, scallops). The products are fresh, and the dishes, including bread and pasta, are homemade.

Spaghetti bolognese for my daughter, carbonara for the boss, and seafood tagliatelle with scallops for myself. Excellent food. Amazing portions. It was very tasty and reasonably priced. We ate in the garden. It's a lovely venue right on one of the canals. Great management with friendly staff. We went back 2 nights later, and the girls had the same dishes. I had the veal scallopini with mushrooms and a side of delicious French fries.
We will go again the next time we are in Venice.

Walked in on the off chance when holidaying in Venice. No atmosphere, waiter tried to sell us a £60 bottle of wine when we asked for the £30 one and was really pushy. The food at the time was nice but did not agree with me after and made me sick. (Vomiting all night) I think it was the seafood as it didn’t taste fresh.

Entramos tras una rato de charleta con quien ente Mía que es el dueño. Un señor con mucha labia y muy majo. Nos comentó que las raciones eran grandes… y pecamos por dejarnos convencer.
Tomamos el menú. Los primeros correctos, los Segundos… raciones muy pequeñas y calidad “Justita”.
Lo que más nos sorprendió es el tema del menú, eran 15€ más o menos por persona. Pero claro, a parte de los 15€, 6€ más por cubierto, más la bebida (agua) a parte.
Nos quedamos con hambre, y pagamos más de 40€ por comer. No nos gustó, ni repetiríamos ni lo recomendaríamos.
