Memorial dedicated to the soldiers of the British Airborne Division, featuring a collection of authentic objects and documents.

Come and relive the dawn of June 6, 1944 at the Pegasus Memorial. An impressive collection of authentic objects and documents dedicated to the 11,000 soldiers of the British 6th Airborne Division, dropped to secure the eastern flank of the Allied landing zone. Testimonials in the visitors’ book add to the collective memory, like this moving one: "I didn’t know my father was a hero. I found out today". In the park, the real Pegasus Bridge and the replica Horsa glider arouse other emotions.

Niet heel groot maar wel erg interessant. De originele brug ligt in de tuin. Mooie gerestaureerde voertuigen. Interessante film.

We visited on our way to the ferry in Dieppe, limited parking for camper vans. I used my forces discount, which reduced the cost by a few Euros. The museum was very good and very well laid out and the exhibition outside with the bridge and the new glider section was very informative. The memorial area give you time to reflect on lost friends and there is an area to place a wreth.
