Walking tour to discover the legend of Saint-Quentin and the mausoleum of actress Marie Joly
On the outskirts of Poligny (a former mining town whose miners' houses can still be seen), a circuit takes you on a voyage of discovery of wonders, mysteries and legends. At the summit: rocky promontories; in the abyss: menhirs and the Brèche where Saint Quentin made a pact with the Devil. Humid due to its proximity to the Laizon River and black as an oven, the place is unique in the early morning. Finally, on the hillside, the mausoleum of actress Marie Joly, who died in 1798, and wife of a cavalry captain from Soumont-Saint-Quentin.
