TOUR MURR

As you look up, you can't miss the Murr Tower, this nearly 40-storey concrete structure. Construction of this building began in 1974. The tower became a militia base during the "Battle of the Hotels". The construction work went on and on during the civil war, and the tower finally reached its present height, but was never completed. In 1994, Solidere bought the tower from the Murr brothers. Afterwards, a dispute broke out, blocking the renovation operations. Even today, no solution is in sight.
