No, it's not a cat bar! But an ideal place to get some fresh air, to breathe, to take a breather... Just outside Pont-l'Evêque, Camille et Valentin's restaurant is brimming with British spirit. In this gourmet cocoon, you can enjoy a delicious British-style lunch, afternoon tea and an evening bar. On Sundays, reservations are required for a local organic brunch. We loved the outdoor space, the retro decor, the children's play area and the fireplace in winter. A place where everyone can find happiness and a second home!

Low season: open Thursdays 12pm-2pm; Fridays 12pm-2pm and 7pm-10pm; Saturdays 12pm-10pm; Sundays 11am-6pm. High season: Wednesday to Saturday, 12pm to 10pm; Sunday, 11am to 8pm. Owner's Message
Le Chat Perché is a Country Pub, tearoom and garden tucked away in the heart of the Pays d'Auge.
Our guests are welcome throughout the day to enjoy UK inspired dishes and cakes. We take pride in serving home-made, wholesome food, prepared from fresh, seasonal produce. Most of our ingredients are sourced from small local farms and wherever possible we use organic fairtrade produce. We are deeply committed to a more eco-friendly approach to catering and aim to create a space where people can enjoy themselves without compromising ethics and values of Fairshare and Earthcare.
For lunch or dinner, why not tuck into our traditional Fish and Chips or try one of our home-made cheeseburgers ? Vegetarian? Or free-range, local, organic beef? The choice is yours. The only ingredients in our burgers that aren’t locally sourced are the Cheddar and Stilton because we only want the best in farmhouse British cheese. So we have them shipped over from across the pond. We also offer a selection of soups, curries, salads, light lunches… most of our dishes are available in vegetarian options.
If you have more of a sweet-tooth, you're in for a treat ! Our tearoom menu is brimming with all sorts cakes : lemon meringue pie, carrot cake, Guinness cake, cheesecake, cookies, muffins, vegan pastries… and of course traditional Devonshire Scones. Best enjoyed with a locally-made farmhouse ice tea on the sunny terrace or with a creamy hot chocolate by the fire after a long autumn country walk.
When night-time comes, Le Chat Perché transforms into a cosy, romantic, friendly bar. With a wide range of local craft beers and ciders and premium spirits, you’ll be spoilt for choice. We also offer a selection of fine bar snacks, a “Ploughman Platter” for a light nibble, and our lunch and dinner menu is available for a hearty meal.
In the daytime, children are welcome to enjoy our playroom or take a stroll in the garden. Come meet our sheep, hens and guinea pigs ! We also host a range of events and workshops for both children and adults throughout the year. The listing is available on our website

Our Afternoon Tea for Two is a one-way ticket to England! Available on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 3:00 pm to 6:00pm. Please note that Afternoon Teas MUST BE ORDERED AT LEAST 24 hours in advance.
Indulge in a selection of finger sandwiches, decadent little cakes and puffy Devon scones, served with farmhouse butter (because we simply cannot get clotted cream around here) and strawberry jam. Topped off with some fresh fruit and a hot drink. Tea preferably, if you're traditional - but coffee and hot chocolate work just fine too!
Homemade, with lots of love and local, organic ingredients wherever possible.

Nous sommes navrés qu'il y ait eu un quiproquo concernant les horaires de collecte des nos paniers "anti-gaspi" un jour où nous avons du fermer plus tôt exceptionnelement et où nous avons omis de mettre l'application à jour. Nous comprenons le désagrément que cela vous a causé et nous nous en excusons. De là à nous mettre 1 etoile pour vous venger, alors que vous n'avez jamais franchi le seuil de notre établissement.... bonne continuation
Je recommande grandement ce lieu très chaleureux, cadre et ambiance parfaits.
Sans parler des restaurateurs, souriants, gentils et aimables.
Ça fait plusieurs fois que nous y allons et nous sommes jamais déçus bien au contraire !!
Niveau cuisine : produit de qualite et de proximité.
C'est réellement un délice, toujours surpris dans l'émerveillement gustatif, des saveurs incroyables.
