For example the panini il gionalista with Parma ham, arugula, ricotta and truffle oil. Dishes such as a roast rack of lamb with pistachio invite you to linger here. The organic wine offered is fruity and long on the palate. You eat on a few tables on the terrace, at the counter or on small tables in the back room. The decoration is design and offbeat.

Nice bistro nestled in a passage not far from the castle, appreciated by the Tridentines for the lunch break. You can eat well and quickly (salads, dishes, burgers...). There are also several local craft beers. Perfect between two visits in town, especially since you can also take your meal with you to eat outdoors. The place is also very lively at the aperitif time, especially on Thursday, with live music and a more festive atmosphere. Here we make Venetian Spritz, with Select aperitivo produced in the "Serenissima".

A historic brewery-restaurant with a beautiful wood-panelled room and chandeliers. It offers South Tyrolean cuisine and craft beers. The waiters move between the tables in traditional costume. A fresh giant pretzel bread is served with the nonna salad, speck chips, trentignana (a kind of parmesan cheese) and honey sauce. Try the pork goulash with canerderli (Tyrolean dumplings), also known as knödels, a must. A little too touristy though.

This gastronomic restaurant and wine bistro has converted its old cellar into a wine bar, while on the ground floor and terrace is the restaurant. Regional specialities revisited with elegance and lightness. The wine bar character of the place invites you to combine wine with food. For those who like to pick up a lot of little things, theaperitivo is particularly good. Ask for advice, as the wine list has almost 450 wine references!

Located in a former warehouse on a small square in the city centre, this friendly neighbourhood bistro offers tasty regional cuisine and a touch of the good old-fashioned style (excellent antipasti in particular). You can sit in one of the three tastefully decorated rooms, two of which are made of stone with vaulted ceilings, and in one of them you can see the cooks at work in their kitchen. Nice summer terrace for lunch under parasols. An address appreciated by the locals, which we can only recommend.

Here's a quality Italian-style fast-food restaurant near the train station, on the old town side. In this neighborhood with its large student population, this affordable address is a godsend. It's always busy, and it's easy to see why, as the value for money is unbeatable. At the piadine counter, you order a mini or regular version, choosing your local ingredients. You can take away or eat on site at counters or tables. Quickly done, well done, and with a smile!

Ideal to eat a good pizza without breaking the bank. The place is unpretentious, with a large vaulted room overlooking ancient stone arches. The locals are not mistaken and come here to order their favourite pizzas. The mozzarella is particularly exceptional, the thin and crispy dough is tasty and the pizza with Tyrolean speck and a beautiful ball of burrata is a pure wonder. Also some very hearty pasta dishes, but really pizzas are a must. Fast and friendly service.

A trattoria in the historic center where excellent Trentino specialties are served at a good price. Try the surprising deer and black truffle risotto and the tasty sprangolapreti (Trentino gnocchi). Good local wines, very friendly service and a nice atmosphere in the evening. The setting is chic and elegant inside with nice antique armchairs. You can also opt for the terrace on the street. Courteous service.

Unquestionably one of the best restaurants in the city. Since the ^16th century, the osteria Le Due Spade has been catering to the locals and travelers in Trento, that's for sure! Today, the osteria is a gourmet restaurant that has kept its ^17th century architecture, with a traditional tavern atmosphere, except that it offers creative and high quality regional cuisine. The dishes are declined on the mountain and sea side, with original seafood platters and tasty desserts. Reservations are essential because the osteria is very popular.
