A concrete tower in Ouistreham, recounting the various battles and the PA 30-31 barge, through its large fresco.
The Great Bunker of the Atlantic Wall is located in the former German HQ that commanded the batteries on the Orne estuary. In this concrete tower, life-like scenes of daily life have been recreated. Outside, a large fresco depicts the key moments of the battles. A detail that will make you dream: the PA 30-31 barge, restored for the film Saving Private Ryan, actually transported soldiers during the D-Day landings on June 6, 1944!
