DOOLIN PIER
Go there and contact
Doolin Pier is the departure point for the Aran Islands. Amidst the grey rocks, dotted with flowers, there's a beautiful view of the ocean.
At Doolin Pier, there's something for everyone. On the left are the dark cliffs of Moher, where the waves crash. Opposite, on a clear day, the Aran Islands come into view. And on the right, the Burren peeks out. No beach is accessible here - it's far too dangerous. All you'll find are grey rocks dotted with pink flowers. From the harbour, a small path runs alongside the ocean, past cows and horses, and takes walkers back to the bridge and the village's two main pubs.
