UPPER LAKE
Go there and contact
A lake located in Killarney National Park, a great place to walk and fish for wild trout and salmon.
After Muckross Lake and Lough Leane, the road skirts Upper Lake (where you can fish for trout and wild salmon) and passes through exuberantly dense woodland to Ladies View. This iconic spot in the Ring of Kerry owes its name to Queen Victoria's maids, who admired the view when she visited in 1861. From here, you can overlook the Upper Lake, which stretches out in streams amidst the wooded mountains. The next viewpoint, Moll's Gap, at an altitude of 260 metres, offers a different but no less seductive vision.
