Museum with bar, retracing the history of whiskey through interactive exhibits, located opposite Trinity College,

Opposite Trinity College, this museum skilfully traces the history of the famous beverage on the Irish island. The classic tours are highly entertaining, and include interesting anecdotes from our tour guides, information on the country's most famous distilleries, interactive workshops and, of course, a chance to try out different whiskey labels at the end of the tour (3 for the classic tour) in the museum bar. Please note that on the premium tour, large bottles will be available. Attention whiskey lovers!

Nous sommes tombé sur ce musée en nous baladant et avons décidé de rentrer dedans par curiosité. Le musée est assez petit, mais très original. Le prix d'entrée est un peu élevé, mais se trouve amortit par la dégustation de trois whiskys à la fin de la visite. Le guide est très sympa, souriant et drôle. Je me suis facilement laissée entraînée par l'histoire du whisky, car les explications sont très ludiques et théâtrales.

J'ai fait ce musé après avoir fait le musée Guinness et j'ai étais un peu déçu par la visite. Le musée est assez petit et moins attrayant que le musée Guinness. Cependant, pour les amateurs de Wisky ça reste intéressant car on apprend pas mal sur la fabrication du Wisky.

Mais top et si le monsieur/dame pose une question dans le premier amphithéâtre levez la main c'est pour la dégustation.

A museum, not very large but quite full.
The visit is done with performances to understand the history of the Irish whiskey very well. Everything is in English but the guide took boredom to speak slowly with expressive gestures with the result that the visit was clear, even for children.
A tasting is done at the end of the tour and you leave with your drink, nice!
Small precision: we have made this visit at the end of your stay what enabled us to establish links with what we had seen before (for example, importance of Clonmacnoise in the history of the whiskey)
