The chef's philosophy is simple: to offer traditional Irish cuisine with its own touch of modernity, at a price accessible to all. A successful gamble! The dishes are fine and tasty, prepared with some organic products. The meal is served in a pretty room where the decoration is both sober and sophisticated. Among the house specialities, we can mention the lamb shepherds pie and the vanilla cheese cake. An excellent address.

The excellent Fallon & Byrne restaurant is located on the first floor of the Food Hall delicatessen. In an Irish-style brasserie atmosphere, you'll enjoy finely selected, eco-friendly products, an extensive wine list and simply fabulous cocktails, such as the Dublin Mule or the Green Samurai. Here are just a few dishes to whet your appetite: Aged Irish beef carpaccio or oysters for starters; crispy duck confit, grilled salmon or entrecôte steak for the main course; homemade cheesecake or espresso martini for dessert.

This charming vegetarian and vegan restaurant, the first to open its doors in the Irish capital, is very popular. Its warm and comfortable setting, its few tables on the terrace and its healthy and balanced cuisine are the recipes for its success. The menu offers a variety of original dishes, such as the leek-potato and zucchini gratin with goat cheese sauce. We also particularly appreciate the breakfast, with or without gluten, and the soup of the day, always delicious.

The only artisanal creperie in the capital! Located along the Royal Canal, not far from the city centre, this address was opened by Grégory Autret, Breton and Irish by adoption. His creperie is a hit, no doubt thanks to its French touch, but especially thanks to its succulent buckwheat pancakes, either savoury or sweet, made from flour produced in a Breton mill. On the menu, the great classics such as the wholemeal (egg, ham and cheese), but also sophisticated recipes featuring the best Irish products.

A little history to start with! On the north bank of the Liffey, Dublin Woollen Mills is an iconic Dublin building that was home to a famous garment factory from 1888 to 2012. Bringing this vast historic building back to life was a real challenge, and one that has been successfully met by a restaurant that has seen things through: four floors and a rooftop terrace overlooking the Liffey and the Ha'penny Bridge. This gastro-pub, which describes itself as a friendly "eating house" that prepares everything on the spot, is a real find.

The first instinct on entering this former bank is to look up. It's hard to blink at its lavish Victorian decor: stained-glass ceilings, mosaic floors, hand-carved cornices. What's more, the notes of a piano accompany your visit. Finally, the food on the plate is delicious and the waiters charming. We recommend that you make your way to the toilets, where we hear you can see some safes on the way!

Burger lovers, welcome to Captain Americas! The restaurant is nestled upstairs, in an all red room where guitars are hung. If you want to eat "diet", continue your way; the others, you can enjoy steak, chicken, veggie burger... or not! Because it must be said that the burger options are numerous. Also on the menu: fajitas, nachos, breadsticks, Philly cheese steak, pasta, pizzas... The clientele is young, local and apparently fond of this very rocky place where the music is loud.

We come here more for the setting than for the food. Because, as its name indicates, the restaurant occupies a church! Restored and converted into a restaurant, bar and club, this unusual establishment offers a trendy and, it must be said, unusual and impressive setting when you see the organs behind the bar in particular. The food is quite good, but not always up to our expectations; a little too classic perhaps. But at least you have to come and have a cocktail in this unusual place

Ireland has created its own fast-food chain, a little junk, such as McDonald's or Quick : Supermac's. No surprises, then, on the menu: burgers, fries and sodas

At Umi's (there are several addresses in the capital), you can certainly taste the best falafels in town, thanks to a 100% vegetarian menu and some vegan options. The products are of good quality and always fresh; and the hummus and the homemade Lebanese bread are excellent. Some fruit juices (pressed on the spot of course) accompany wonderfully the plates proposed on the menu. And, not to spoil anything, it is copious and not expensive! You will have understood, we like this small address a lot.

The O'Sheas Hotel's restaurant-pub is wooden and very rustic, with a warm and relaxed atmosphere, and it always attracts many tourists. The place is packed at lunchtime, so it's a good idea not to arrive at the height of the boom. The menu is simple and unpretentious, but has the merit of being inexpensive. And it's the perfect place to try traditional Irish dishes, such as Irish breakfast, Irish stew, pork and leek sausages, meat and Guinness pie...

Beer hall and steakhouse are the two specialties of Bull & Castle, with a wide choice of beers and steak slabs. The restaurant is very popular, despite its rather high prices. But let's face it, the interior offers warmth and conviviality, the decor is sympathetic, smiles are the order of the day and, above all, the meat offered by this steakhouse is simply delicious. And it's always expertly cooked! The little extra: each dish is recommended with a specific type of beer or wine.

Open since 1957 in a beautiful Georgian building, this chic restaurant, with its dimmed lights and muted atmosphere with red walls and paintings of artists, serves delicious Italian and Irish cuisine with diverse influences. The menu includes excellent steaks and deliciously melting sole. Affectionately dubbed The Troc by Dubliners, it's a popular spot - locals swear by it for a special occasion - and we strongly advise you to book.

In the grounds of the Brooks Hotel, this excellent restaurant serves imaginative Irish (and international) cuisine in a rather designer and contemporary setting. Chef Patrick McLarnon has won many awards for his modern cuisine using fresh seasonal produce. The prices are very affordable, considering the quality. On the menu: homemade gnocchi, duck in cider and scallops. The Jasmine bar, open every day, is a pleasant place to continue the evening. It serves excellent whiskies.

You have to climb to the first floor to discover this very nice restaurant with its original and colourful decoration. Wooden tables, walls decorated with posters and paintings of artists give a warm side to the place. Coq au vin, homemade gnocchi or shoulder of lamb with its gratin and wine sauce are on the menu and the dishes are simple, varied and always successful. The chef's cuisine draws its influences from the Mediterranean region. There is also a wide choice of vegetarian dishes and an interesting wine list.

As soon as you step in the door, you are immediately immersed in the décor with the names of the vineyards hanging on the walls. To take a seat, you have to go down to the basement. Behind the bar, bottles are stacked on top of each other, old French songs resound in the red room, old posters adorn the walls, and the cosy and intimate setting invites you to relax... Here, spicy and fragrant dishes are served that will delight the fine gourmets: hot goat's cheese salad, mussels marinière, charcuterie plate, rack of lamb with honey and whiskey..
