Located 8 km south of Dublin city center, Leopardstown Racecourse is one of the capital's most famous racecourses, where horses have been competing since 1888, ridden by some of the country's finest jockeys. At this racecourse, horse racing takes center stage, with flat and steeplechase races taking center stage. With around twenty meetings a year, the Hennessy Gold Cup is held here in February, as is the Christmas Festival, which takes place every year from December 26 to 30. Numerous catering outlets.
