On the banks of the Liffey, the very chic Clarence Hotel, built in 1852, belongs to two members of U2, The Edge and Bono.

Located on the banks of the Liffey, the very cosy Clarence boutique hotel, built in 1852, is owned by two members of the group U2, The Edge and Bono. Chic and expensive, it has the advantage of being located in Temple Bar, but away from its bustle. Classic and classy, the 51 rooms are pleasant and have custom-made furniture. The more expensive ones have a beautiful view of the river. A bar, the Octagon, also allows you to have a glass of whiskey in a very classy setting. For the trendy, upper class traveller.

Good location for Temple Bar, but the rooms need an update. Excellent service.

Centrally located, convent to shopping and entertainment district. Don't forget to discover the octigan bar, and google it's history. Lovely coffee shop right next door.

This hotel, very well located stayed in another time. Decor, a bit, adds to the charm of this place. We had a suite with river views. The room is very clean, the facilities are very good. Ideal to explore Dublin on foot, as located in the district of Temple Bar. Departures by bus to discover the city are just a few hundred metres. Friendly evening, because last in the lively Temple Bar. Only the insulation is a little light and we took advantage of the Irish music until late at night. However, nothing quite extremely to prevent us from sleeping. It is here that we will return when we return to Dublin.
