Hotel with comfortable rooms, bar with terrace and evening performances of Irish song and dance, located on the quayside.

Situated on the quayside, this grand hotel also boasts a pleasant bar with terrace. There are 132 comfortable, fairly modern rooms, decorated in a simple, rather classic style. The only drawback is that some of the bathrooms are a little dated. Every evening, the hotel hosts Celtics Nights, an evening of Irish song and dance. For 49 euros, you can dine in (3 courses) and watch the show. Of course, it's not always very authentic. The welcome is warm and the location ideal.

Waren in der Bar am St. Patrick's Day. Große Barfläche und gute Live Musik. Haben den ganzen Nachmittag dort verbracht. Gegessen haben wir dort allerdings nicht, wir waren lediglich für Getränke wie Guinness dort. Getränkebestellung ging trotz hohem Aufkommen zügig.

Our experience with the Arlington was near perfect. Start with the only problem, we couldn't get the TV to work. Such a minor problem considering you're in Dublin. The positives are many. First, the staff was amazing. A smooth check-in. Answered a bunch of "tourist" questions with a friendly smile. When we ventured out the next morning they wished us a good day and asked if we needed any help. When we checked out, they held our luggage so we could go sightseeing. Then got a taxi to the airport for us later in the evening. Just nice and friendly. The location is great, just across the river from everything. You can walk most anywhere from The Arlington. When you come in for the night, definitely visit the bar for a drink. It's a super cool old Irish pub with live music every night. Some locals and a few tourists. You don't have to fight the crowds and overpriced drinks on Temple Bar. The room was nice and clean. This is the best place we have stayed in a long time. Stay here in Dublin.

With St Patrick's Day arriving soon I've been strolling down memory lane, and revisiting my stay at the Arlington in 2016. It was my pleasure to have experienced such an authentic place, with authentic people. Everyone was so hospitable. Thanks for the memories!
