Between O'Connell Bridge and Trinity College, on the border between Temple Bar and the Georgian Quarter, this hostel is a good option for budget travelers passing through the capital. The dormitories are very basic, but have their own bathroom. The hostel has a large, fully-equipped kitchen, provides bed linen and has no curfew. The premises are spacious and well-kept, with a friendly atmosphere. Of course, as with all youth hostels, the nights can get quite noisy..

Very friendly staff, no problem with check-in or out, could leave the luggage in a luggage room after check-out. There is a common room with sofas and tables as well as electronic lockers for imo reasonable prices. Next to it there's the kitchen with fridges, and other storage for your food, kitchen is well-equipped, microwaves and a kettle too, there's coffee, tea and chocolate for free. There are towels to rent and cages (without locks, bring your own) underneath the beds. The stairwells are probably a bit narrow but it works. There's a lift as well but I didn't use it so I can't tell about it. Wifi works great all over the house.
First time in the 14-bed room. Beds alright, with plugs, USB-plugs (my cable fell out of the USB so I had to use the normal one, no problem for me though) and light. Toilets and showers moslty clean, probably a bit narrow.
2nd time in a 6-bed room. Same beds, just one bathroom, of a decent size though. Noise from the street was alright in both rooms.
Great location, right next to Trinity College, Temple Bar and the O'Connell Bridge. Also there's a bus stop for the bus coming from the airport and others going eg. to UCD. Other directions just one street away, coach stop for CityLink and Aircoach not far away either.
