Between O'Connell Bridge and Trinity College, on the border between Temple Bar and the Georgian Quarter, this hostel is a good option for budget travelers passing through the capital. The dormitories are very basic, but have their own bathroom. The hostel has a large, fully-equipped kitchen, provides bed linen and has no curfew. Excellent place for tourists. I stayed there for a few days. I visited Dublin from El Salvador, Central America. Excellent attention and wonderful service.

I rang the bell and knocked the door a couple of times at 1 PM and no one answered. I didn't have a reservation so I waited a couple of minutes and left to find another place. Gave a very bad first impression so didn't want to stay anyways.

Die Lage des Hostels ist perfekt. Man kommt überall sehr gut hin und auch die Busverbindung ist sehr lobenswert. Auch die Preise sind sehr angemessen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und geben sich Mühe so gut wie möglich bei Fragen zu helfen. Allerdings gab es beim einchecken schon Probleme, da wir ganz andere Zimmer bekommen haben, wie wir gebucht haben. Im Zimmer haben wir leider einige großen Mängel feststellen müssen. Von einer auseinanderfallenden Heizung die nicht funktioniert, über ein rostiges verstopftes Waschbecken sind wir leider überall auf starke Verschmutzungen hauptsächlich im Badezimmer gestoßen. Fließen und Fugen in der Dusche sind stark von Schimmel betroffen und selbst außerhalb der Dusche bilden sich an einigen Stellen schon Schimmelflecken. Zwischen der Tür der Dusche und dem Boden ist ein so großer Abstand, dass dort das ganze Wasser hinausläuft und man nach wenigen Minuten mit einer riesen Pfütze in dem Badezimmer rechnen muss. Zudem lassen sich die Fenster nur wenige cm öffnen was das Lüften sehr behindert.
