Great Hotel in perfekt Location near the City Center of Dublin. Warm welcoming employees and even the owner hast time for a little chat. The Restaurant ist also worth a Visit with good Service, Food und Drinks. We enjoyed our stay here a lot.

Great hotel with lots of charm. Full of antiqe furniture and artifacts, but thankfully with 21 century bathrooms.
We met the owner one day in reception, who was very friendly and down to earth. He told us some history about his family and the hotel.
This hotel definitely exceeded expectations.

Im taking various factors and vast traveling experience into consideration before writing this review. The reason why I give this hotel stay 1 star is in hope of warning others with the reality of the management in this hotel. They charge you even when you checked out more than 24 hours before, and rent out the room. The price you pay for a very old hotel where no effort was done to make the stay comfortable and meet a 4 star hotel requirement. I’ve stayed in many hotels and you can hear everything the other guests do, I mean everything! The sleep here is not good, and nothing has been done to improve small easy fixes to improve your stay, so all sounds get in and the doors in the hallways could easily be a lot more smartly more quiet with an almost costless solution, instead of making noise in the night to all the guests, but this hotel don’t show care about the 4 stars. The staff at the desk were kind of alright, Aman was very kind, but this hotel management only cares about taking as much money from you as they can, while your room is checked out for a whole day. They do not inform you about a 48 hour cancellation policy when you check in or book, and this is disgraceful and appears to be planned.
I had to check out 26 hours before the planned checkout time and there was a couple of hours before mid day to make the room ready for a new guest (the reception said everything was fully booked), so my room could easily be rented out quickly, since people were waiting for a hotel room to open up, and they told me they would not make me pay if the room was rented out, but they took the money from the card and did not show interest in refunding it. Stay away from this hotel. The management easily make double money on same room even if you show respect and checkout 2 hours before checkout time for the day during one of the most busy holidays of the year. It is a really careless way to manage a hotel and name it 4 stars on top of it. Stay away from this hotel, you have other good options in Dublin and they will treat you with respect and not steal your money like this. I stayed in a lot of hotels in my life and never have I experienced a direct humiliation by not responding to your email while being dishonest and avoid telling about the cancellation policy of 48 hours until you check out, which is absurd when people are waiting in line for a room in Easter. It is careless and a hustle. I never make negative reviews like this, never did I have to, but this sort of mindset and behavior from a 4 star hotel is a disgrace in such a wonderful city and country with such amazing people. I unfortunately hereby, give my worst review of experience even though I had a wonderful holiday in Dublin, because Irish people are so respectful. Before you support this hotel, look at other places, and keep in mind that this place is the opposite of what the respectful Irish culture is!

Pretty ok located, friendly service but:
- room/bathroom aren’t clean (toilets dirty, there is an urgent need to replace the toilet seater), some moisture here and there, a strong sweat smell in the corridor (time to deep clean the carpets?)
- there is no phonic isolation at all. We could literally see clear through the entry door!

I loved the location. Close to buses and the train. Close to hop on/hop off busses. The food was fantastic. The live music and Irish dancing were exactly what I wanted. The staff was so nice and friendly. When I come to Dublin again, I will stay here. Thank you for helping to make this part of my trip so perfect.

Patinás, klasszikus hotel, remek hangulattal, kedves kiszolgálás, figyelmes vendéglátás. Kerek születésnap ajándéka volt, a dublini utazás része, hogy itt szálltunk meg. A szobát kérésre előre preparálták (lufik, szalag, üdvözlő lap), a vacsora során is kisebb meglepetések értek. Életem egyik nagy élményét tették még emlékezetesebbé.
A szoba kilátása egy kisebb katedrálisra nyílt, berendezése szinte múlt századi, mint a hotel egész miliője. Ellenben tisztaság és rendezettség jellemzi, a romantikusan régies hangulat nem párosul ódon dohosággal. Két étteremben lehet reggelizni, az ételek vagy a kontinentális vagy az ír ízlés szerintiek (ajánlott full irish breakfast-t kipróbálni). A palacsinta készítő automata zseniális! Az kéne otthonra is. :)
Jól pozíciónált a hotel, mert közel a belváros, akár rövidebb sétával elérhető. Másik irányba fordulva viszont már kicsit külvárosi a hangulat. De arra ne menjünk. ;) A dublini árazáshoz képest kedvezőbb, ami talán ennek is betudható.
Összességében egy remek hétvégét töltöttünk itt, és köszönjük a szálloda személyzetének kedvességét!

The room was cosy and comfortable, overlooking a quiet courtyard. The decor throughout was classically pleasing, guest lounges located in reception rooms of the former Georgian townhomes were elegant and welcoming with their tall windows, fireplaces and generously upholstered sofas and armchairs. An excellent location with secure and affordable private parking as well.

Kdo má rád rušné ulice v centru Dublinu, tak doporučuji, vzhledem k oknům s jednoskla je vše slyšet, ale s tím se v centru počítá...

A hotel nagyon hangulatos vastag szőnyegekkel borított régi, nyikorgó lépcsőivel, padlóival, a rengeteg antik bútorával, sok- sok kiegészítő tárgyaival. Olyan, mint egy gazdag kastélymúzeum, csak itt éppenséggel minden tárgyat lehet használni.
Kellemes kis felfedezésre váró, intim hangulatot árasztó sarkok rejtőznek az épületben.
A személyzet a recepción, a bárban és mindkét étteremben nagyon kedves, segítőkész.
Aki szereti az antik világot, imádni fogja ezt a helyet.

Hotel je na dobri lokaciji. Zaposleni so zelo prijazni, sobe velike in udobne postelje. Imajo tudi zelo dobro restavracijo kjer je ob vikendih živa glasba. Zelo priporočam.

If you love faulty tower theme, then you love this place.

The room I was in was quite cozy and warm. I like that the bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was good and very filling. My only issue is the very, very thin wall. I can really hear people talking outside as if they were in front of me. So, it might not be good for those who are sensitive to noise.
